Why not volunteer to join one of our trips? We can promise you 10 days of very hard, but rewarding work.

It costs a minimum of £750 to join us. I say minimum because if you reach your target, please don’t stop fundraising. The residue will go towards paying for resources and jobs like replacing draughty old wooden windows.

Your money will provide you with all travel (eg coach to and from Gatwick airport, flights and coach travel in Belarus), your accommodation and 3 meals a day.

The trip lasts 10 days and includes a half day trip to Khateen where you learn about Belarusian history and a day sight-seeing and shopping in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. If you join a group that involves young people there will be a trip to the British Embassy where the British Ambassador will host a reception and present the young people with Certificates of Achievement, plus a visit to the ‘Little Bird’ (see our appeals page). That day will be rounded off by the traditional ‘Shashlyk Night’ (Belarusian kebab party) to celebrate our achievements over the period of the trip. The rest of the trip you can be guaranteed to be involved in a lot of hard work, whether it be teaching the children and their teachers how to play on our very successful play scheme, or decorating a unit including painting bright and lively murals on the walls. To see us in action whilst working on the play scheme click the Youtube link below.

If you run a youth group or are working at a school, why not bring your young people on a trip? The trip is very rewarding, puts young lives into perspective and can help to sort out the problems of many troubled teenagers.

Like all charities we are always in need of funds and there are many ways that you can help us. You could run a marathon, do a sky-dive, hold a coffee morning or cheese and wine party or even do a boot sale or bring and buy party. If you want a T-shirt to advertise the charity during your fundraising then we will provide you with one – free of charge!

You can get sponsorship for any event by either asking us for a sponsor form or using the ‘Justgiving’ site.

Do you shop on the Internet? If so you can raise money for Leaves of Hope very simply by signing up to www.easyfundraising.org. All you have to do is give your email address and select  Leaves of Hope for Belarusian Children as the charity you wish to support. Every time you want to shop on line, go to www.easyfundraising.org and search there. You will find thousands of the biggest retailers there and lots of small ones too. Each time you purchase something in this way the company you shop with will give a percentage donation to Leaves of Hope. It's that simple and there is no catch. You don't have to give any personal details other than the basic ones and you email address. All the small amounts add up very quickly: why not give it a try?

Do you pay tax? If so please download one of our Gift Aid forms. For every £1 that you donate, the government will give us 25p.
